Courtesy: The HinduI was shocked to see this photo in 'THE HINDU' today. Shocked because Peerkankaranai is a suburb of Perungalathur, which is my hometown.
I know for a fact that this is not a stray incident. Actually even in Chennai city, there are lots of places with open sewers overflowing in the streets.
You go to Perungalathur and ask the people about their hometown and they'll be proud and say.."IT'S WELL DEVELOPED NOW".
Is this Development?
