Dasavatharam music is just average.
I have a question for Mr.Kamal hassan.
Why did you choose Himesh Reshamiyya when you could have chosen one from the great talents we have here ?

When the movie was started, Himesh was in peak in hindi, So kamal wanted to give a national mileage to the movie and booked Himesh.
You know well that Kamal is a diehard fan of ilayaraja. When thenali came, Kamal criticised Rahman music saying, lets see how he does.
But raja definately lacks national visibility. In the mean time Rahman never does music to hindu religious songs.
So Kamal left no choice rather than going to Himesh. (Do you remeber the movie Cinema by barathiraja also has himesh for music. because tht movie was abt to come parallelly in hindi also)
I cant believe that Rehman doesnt do music for Hindu religious songs. Aint there a Hindu song in Jodha Akbar? But I am saddened to know Dasavatharam music is not good. Am sure Kamal's acting will more than compensate for that.
who said tat AR Rahman wont do Hindu religious song? tatz funny! even in Rang De Basanti, we have sikh people's prayer, in Baba..sakti kodu song... music is a universal language.. pls don confuse...hehe
