Friends, this is my maiden attempt. Recorded this song bit using my FUJI - E550, last weekend at Santa Clara, California. Lakshman Sruthi troupe. The girl in the far left of the screen in green dress is "Madhumitha", the one next to "Unnikrishnan" is "Srilekha Parthasarathy".

Yes, she is the girl who sang the 7G song. Amazing Talent.! She sings all songs by-heart.!

no idea why you guys spend this much for audio blog , its just flash file in turn calling the audio file , thr are lot of flash utility thats thr whihc you can download and upload it to ur server and relate to ur audio and video files.

Madumitha is the one who had sung 'Suthi potta venuma...' in 'Ayyah'. We remember seeing her in person in Singapore last year, in Bharatwaj's music program.

Just a thought, the video started off...then stopped for about 20 secs. and then resumed and continued playing without a flaw...and I am on a "broadband"!! With the wave of podcasting catching on blogs, I just wonder two things:
1. How will mere mortals(who browse on dialups) be able to view/hear it?

sir, loved ur tribute 2 vairamuthu sir...but of late his poetry has lost that class...his earlier discriptions like 'vanam yanak oru bodhi maram',in songs used 2 give me goosebumps...but still now and then he comes up with great poems...like the title song in anbey sivam...but mostly palaya vairamuthu touch missing!!!
