Audioblog and copyright

I sent an email to www.audioblog.com about posting video/songs etc. (film songs) and the copyright implications.

Here is the reply they sent me:

Redistribution of copyrighted material without authorization is illegal.If we receive a notice or court order stating a member is using our service to violatecopyright laws, we will comply with all requests for information.

Narayan: was your previous post copyrighted? I thought that it was what you recorded with your personal camera. Wasnt it? I probably will never audioblog in my life hehehe:P If I do I will sing Kamals song, sandhu pottu.. oru sandhana pottu :P

What copyright issues? do you know, if you are using MP3 format and if you generate more than 100k in annual revenue, then you have to pay royalty?

TT_Giant - I've decided to post some of my favorite songs for the weekend and pull them out on Monday.

Keerthi - Not sure how Thennavan does it...but copyright is copyright.! I think..!

Robbie - Yeah, the previous post was from my camera. But I won't dare put my voice for the public.! I have some readers like you whom I don't want to loose thanks to my voice. LOL :)

Venky - Is that right? Umm..I didn't know. Anyways, from now on weekends will be songs.!
