One of my best friends, Ram Viswanathan aka IBM Visu met with one of my favorite writers, Sujatha last week in Chennai. Please visit IBM VISU'S BLOGfor details.
so what if sujatha is a big writer? who can forget his "stab in the back" line at the very end of one essay in which he commented about the Sept 11 incident as
"americargalukku aappu vaitha piragu"...
for which I wrote a big letter to vikatan in which I slammed his writing for being too narrow and shallow...
if anybody reads "Raa Kee Rangarajan" they would know what good writing is....
I read the blog. Very interesting. Sujatha always amazed with the way he adapts to the "new" trends. In the first novel (of Sujatha) that I read, he was talking about robots, this was in the 70's.

My only tip - Think ...Think...Think differently.!
Anonymous - IMHO Sujatha is a great writer. I won't trade him with anyone else. I was never offended with his writing on 911.
I agree Raa-kee-Rangarajan is a wonderful writer too.!
I am planning to request VISU to meet with him as well.

Venky,
I love Sujatha, And if I remember right was the name of the Robot story ' En iniya iyandhirah?'.
Sujatha has always been my favorite writer!
Was that Sujata who wrote the screenplay for Mani Ratnam's "Iruvar"? I loved the Tamil spoken in that movie.
