This is an aerial view of the San Francisco Bay and the Golden Gate Bridge. This photograph was taken from an aircraft a few minutes before it landed at San Francisco Airport. It is travelling North to South. You can see the Golden Gate bridge and at the North West of the photo is the City of San Francisco.
Photographer is my friend Bin Shu. Camera used is Nikon D-SLR D-100.

do you live in San Francisco? if yes, I envy you. i spent a couple of days just walking by myself in this city and I LOVED IT! and ever since any picture of the area brings all the memories right back :-)

Lalith - I live 35 miles North of San Francisco. I love the city but I am too scared to drive due to the ups and downs. I'd rather take the rail cars.

Praveen - Chennai la ipdi edutha coovum odum.. but then, photographs don't stink. When MRTS was launched abt 10 yrs back, they published pictures of coovum taken from the train and many ppl couldn't identify that it is coovum as it looked very different.
If u see the Chennai from the air - esp. at night, it wd make u whistle.. esp. with the sodium vapour lamps decorating the city.

very beautiful picture...I am planning on buying this Nikon D70...hoping to be a better photographer with that one rather than using this point and shoot Olympus...:)

Hi Narayanan, nice picture, I guess pictures related to nature always commands our attention more than other things, i don know whether you are of the same view or not..but personally i feel so, i can see you have successfully uploaded your work in the tamil font you wanted, congratulations! For people like me who cannot read the language, could we have a translation, please.
