Song from Puthukavithai (the Rajini starrer):

Varaiyaraigalai Maatrum Podu
Thalaimuraigalum Maarume.

My dad used to say about Pattukkottai Kalyaana Sundaram and once when he was travelling on a train he was asked to compose a poem impromptu on seeing the green fertile paddy fields of Thanjai Maavattam. The poet immediately composed a gem it seems:

Thenaaro paayudu
Senkathiro saayudu
Aanaal ezhai vayiro kaayudu!

Great, isn't it?

Wonderful song, Wonder who wrote it.! Please ask your dad for such wonderful gems, and post them in your website if you can.

Jagan - I am glad you liked it.

Adaengappa - Thank you, I will...but I am finding it difficult to post in tamil like you do.! Is there a book for Dummies like me to post in Tamil.

Dear Narayanan: Very nice composition with several meanings one of which is tracing the lineage and the legacy left behind
besides bringing out the Japanese concept of a "thOttam" in " BOnsai" which is a pride of interested housewives. As for ur querry in 1954 i used to organise and act dramas with 'Vaali'(Rangarajan). For a card playing sequence in a scene he
wrote, extempore, this
"Vaazhkai enbathOr seetAttam-athil
panam ennum thuruppin nadamAttam
irunthAl kOndAttam,illayel thindAttam"
"Keezh kayyin seettai mel kai thurupputhAn vettuvathAhA jOru-adupOl kooliyin thogai mudalAliyin kaiyal vettapaduvathai pAru"
I hope u like it .There are dozens
of such poems and I also used to compose. My only lament is yet I am not able to blog in "Amizhthinum iniya Tamizh" Best wishes.P.K

Venkitu sir,

rombha rombha nalla kavithai!!!
Rombha aazham irukku...
japense bonsai and japanese haiku le irukure size evlo aazham pathengala????:) - as far as ur question goes, Japanese Hiragana le basic alphabets 46 iruku...idhu nirandharam...ana indha kanji sonnene..adhule 2000 iniku puzhakathule iruku.....enna difference na...if it is not used for more than a year then a government body will sit and analyse and then give out the set of government authorized kanjis.
idhule enna comedy na..oru oru kanjikum atleast rendu meaning irukum oru japanese meaning innonu chinese meaning....appadi pathengana...evlo irukum parunga japanese..that is why it is one of the toughest language to learn..

BUT, Tamizh le irukure literature is even more tough coz adhu thondu thottu vandha oru language...Japanese is a modern language....

enkau Tamizh patru rombha jasthi venkitu sir...atleast I have one Sahithya academy award winning chinna thatha in Ashokamitran in my house! :)....so adhukavadhu konjam tamizh therinjukanum illaya :)

this piece is very very good!!!

Kay - Sure..!! Please go ahead and send.!!

Prabha -Thank you

Kichami Sir - I also enjoyed the meaning of this kavidhai, when my mother read this out.

I didn't know the Vaali's name is Rangarajan.! I know Sujatha's name is Rangarajan. And then I know Raakee. Rangarajan.

Wonderul 'Seetu' kavidhai. Vaali is truly great. Thanks for writing it. Actually I also asked for help from our friend Adengappa. I am trying and one of these days, you'll see tamil in my site.!

IBH - First let me bow my head to "Sri. Asokamitran' Wonderful writer.

I am amazed at the quality things the Govt. of Japan does for its language. If our Politicians atleast take a little bit of lessons for them....!! Imagine.!!
I appreciate your Tamil patru. Thanks for Blogrolling me.

I enjoyed the kavidhai and the nice perfect handwriting. ..(why do you need a pardon!!!!!)

When I read this, I recalled a riddle which I got recently!!!

It reads as follows:

Seller doesn't sell it full-heartedly; Buyer who buys it may not use it fully; Ultimate user doesn't know the sweat gone behind that buying. What is that being sold?

Finally I got the answer as 'property'... Ultimate User is none than the heir who inherits it.

Ram C. First time Here I think. Thank you for your comments on my Hand writing.

Your riddle about Property convinces me that I shouldn't buy one.!!
