Ilayaraja's latest - Shiva ( Hindi)

This is Music India Online's comment about the album. Though Ilayaraja has recycled his old tunes the songs are still amazing !

Please don't miss Saara Yeh Alaam. What a song !

Ilayaraja who has composed masterpiece music for films like ‘Sadma’ and ‘Hey Ram’ takes you by surprise with his outstanding modern implementation of music here. The songs are composed such that they will just leave you breathless and wanting for more.

Should listen to it at the earliest! IR is a master of melodies, no doubt in that.

It rightly says that:
"Ilaiya Raja is the pride of India. His sense of melody and orchestration has no parallels. In fact he is the bench mark for music composition in films, not merely in South India, but even in Bollywood."
Due to poor promotion of the music by Ramgopal varma, I think the album did not get it's due. What a pity that Mumbaites never recognize the genius of Ilayaraja.
