Weekend song

Though this is a lift from a popular Carnatic music song, it's good to listen to. Thank you Keerthi for sending this song to me.

No idea about the Movie this song is from and other details. I'm sure someone will update us on that.

Dial-up users - Audioblog has a special technique of compression for you. Please let me know how it works.

Thank you

Enjoy!

This is a fabulous song ! "Entharo Mahaanubavu"
Rendered at its best by MS Subbalakshmi.

A classic symphony fusion version is also featured
in the malayalam movie "Devadoothan" starring Mohanlal.
This version of the song is absolutely marvelous.

Yes, the audioblog on dialup sounds great. loads fast.

This tamil version of the song is ok.
But the orchestration is not that great -
So the magic and charm of this raga is not evident.

Not sure when this song was released, it is a lift from "Aetho Varmugilin " (Venugopal & Chitra). Film name, anyone?

venkitu sir,
it is not a movie song. this is from rahman's first private album 'Andhi Maalai'.

idhe madiri 'Entharo Mahanu Bhavolu' rehash panni Malayalam'la Devadoothan'nu oru padathula symphony version'a potturuppanga. thats also a nice song. That song was composed by Vidyasagar.

I was searching for this song and reached your blog, since you didnt get the details yet i thought i'll share some info.

The music director is Ouseppachan, a popular MD in Malayalam films. Vairamuthu penned the lyrics for all the songs. ARR's role was just an Instrumentalist in that album.
Though the cassette for this album was released with a pic of ARR and it said Music by ARR, the cassette company falsely cashed in on ARR's success after Roja.
