From time immemorial, there has been this continous conflict between Good Vs Bad.. While 'Lokas Samastha Sukhino Bhavandhu' is a good thought.. it is also utopian..

While reading 'Ponniyin Selvan', it struck me that TN was doing great that time with water conservation. Veeranam Eri was called 'Veeranarayanapuram Eri' and was sufficient to take care of that entire region north of Cauvery. Avangalukku 1000 varushathukku munnale therinjadhu namakku innum theriyale.. Of course Ganga-Cauvery project will suffice our need. I personally feel that may not be a real solution. The real solution is water conservation. As GP said, try to make more number of lakes than longing for river water to come. Plant trees, conserve the ecosystem. Nature is the mirror of what you have done to it, but it shows the image with a phase lag.
The religious problem will not be solved if Ram and Akbar join their hands. It is dependent on how you understand and respect other religion. After all the person following a religion (especially in India) is because his father belongs to that particular religion. I am wondering why everyone is putting all his emotions on the choice he made..

I guess that you have questioned the mere existence of God. I don't know why the so called "GOD" created this universe. I don't know whether there is a need to look for the existence of "GOD". Whether there is "GOD" or not. Be good in your thoughts, speech actions. That's enough, there is no need for any help/assistance from the so called "GOD" to make an utopian world.

My remark is that we the humans messed up everything that was given to us and then it is our responsibility to set it right, rather than asking help from God or putting a blame on God for not helping us..
I do not agree with the "Arasiyalvaithiyai Ozhikkanum" logic. We always come to the conclusion that, the politicians are the reason for all our ills. What happened to the Ilaya Samuthayam? Why no one is rising up? I do not know any youngster "dreams" to become a politician (except of course sons/daughters of politicians). There is no one to question the establishment. Neither the people nor the media , judiciary or even the politicians themselves (the supposedly opposition party)! I also hate our mentality to depend on the government to do everything for us. When I visited Chennai a few months ago, I was stunned to see that the open space behind my dad's apartment is freely used as an open air lavatory. Nobody wants to give a complaint! When I called the municipality, the answer was "Athellam onnum panna mudiyathunga sir". Where are the volunteers? Where are the thousands of ammas, appas, thathas and pattis , boys and girls? Instead of watching the silly serials and songs, can they not contribute an hour a week for the welfare, cleanliness of the city?

I agree with you on the preservation of eco system. I hate borewells
being sunk all over.! Planting trees good idea, also lakes and tanks
