ஆங்கில மோகம் பிடித்ததினால்
பிள்ளையை கான்வென்டில் சேர்த்துவிட்டான்
தமிழில் இருவர் பேசிக்கொண்டால்
தரக்குறை வென்றொரு கருத்திருக்கு
வலைப்பூவில் தமிழ் மலர்ந்ததினால்
பிறந்தது புதுத் தெம்பெமக்கு
