KB and UK Belated Birthday Wishes.
KB - 75 years vow!. He is a legend sir. Still he is able to provide dramas in any forms as entertainment.
UK- one of my favourite singers. Sir enna kural athu. Though he has not sung many songs in Tamil, those he has sung are excellent.
"Uyirum Neeye" from Pavithra is an excellent song by him. Antha pattai keetkum pothu ellam naan engaiyoo poidevean.
haha! the thanglish was awesome. Really helped me read some of the stuff. Hmm! So KB and UK have their birthdays on the same day... I havent heard any UK songs recently and KB isnt also making any movies. Seems like their astrological chart is on a decline.
Unni's "Ennavale Adi Ennavale" from Kaadhalan is one of my all time favorites :)
To me,
KB 's marma dhesam's are better than his movies.. atleast the new ones with the exception of vaaaname ellai
Why is Unni loosing chances on Movie music. AR Rahman is not using him anymore.. Its all Karthik. Dont know why.
What would have happened to the Tamil movie Industry, if KB wasnt there.. very hard to imagine.

Both are a class of their own. UnniKrishnan is not singing a lot these days. ARR used him prominently, but since ARR stopped focussing on Tamil movies, UK seems to have faded away.
People have missed out Unnikrishnan, due to the bright lighting on KB - on this day. Both are gems in their own fields...

KB is one of the best. i like him for the boldess in his characters and the presentations.
UK - hmm i have one carnatic CD by him. i think that CD sold more than any of his film music CDs.

Ramesh, I read about balachander and his b'day in hindu...did not read about unnikrishnan....they covered Vairamuthu...
either way, I like Balachander and thats about it....as for the others.....let us see how much they contribute when they reach 75 years in their life...
i would also wish KB many more happy returns of the day...
