used to be an ardent fan of his words.. Helped me win so many prizes!!! I owe a lot to this man..

To me, he is even better than thiruvalluvar!!! Many beg to differ.

I do not think you can compare Thiruvalluvar and Bharathiyar. Both lived in different time periods; each were motivated in a different way. Would Bharathiyar achieved the same "literary fiery" if he lived during Thiruvalluvar's time period. Both are iconic and have contributed tremendously to tamil literature and its culture.
