Chidambaram Subramaniam - Guess who he is?
He is the grandson ( son's son) of VOC Pillai the great freedom fighter from South India. Chidambaram is a great friend of mine . We worked together for about 15 years. He lives in Madras now with his wife and daughter.

Do you know what happened to VOC Pillai during his last years?
He did not even have the money to take a train to go back to Tirunelveli. He was broke. The people of Perambur ( near Chennai ) bought him a train ticket.

Narayan, that's very true. Its really sad that people who fought and got freedom for us are so neglected.I am glad to hear about your website.
