Suryan FM Live - Takes me close to home

Thanks to Prasanna, Jeevan and Prabhu I've been listening to Suryan FM the last few weeks.

It makes me feel that I live in Chennai !. Wow, what a feeling!

I hope the other FM stations in Chennai will follow and give a Internet feed soon. I am sure the days are not far away.

Canon G2 for sale in Chennai

My cousin is now in Chennai on vacation. He is planning to sell his digital camera kit. I can vouch for the condition of the camera. Hariharan concert - Photos

It was a fantastic evening. The hall was full and Padmashri Hariharan as expected, mesmerized the audience with his silky voice.

Most of the songs were in Hindi. He sang a few Tamil songs ( Ennai Thaalatta, Nila kaigirathu, Uyire, Pachai Nirame). 'Krishna Ne begene' was a blast ! He also sang one Telugu song ( Kurukku siruthavale from Mudhalvan). His latest from 'Guru' got a thunderous applause.

After the concert, Hariharan was kind enough to spend some time with the audience. I took some pictures and also got his autograph on my 'Lahore Ke Rang' CD.

Living in the Earthquake zone

It happened at 8.40 pm. this evening while I was watching American Idol. Though I didn't feel it, my wife said, she did. A 4.2 earthquake with the epicenter approximately 25 miles South of where I live ! Scary !

Just last week, I experienced an earthquake while I was at work. It had its epicenter approximately 2 miles from where I work, in Berkeley, California. I felt that. I felt/heard a big thud and then the building shook for a few seconds.
