PLEASE VOTE FOR HARISH - AIRTEL SUPER SINGER

Harish, has reached the finals of the Airtel Super Singer Competition. A win here would take him to HARRIS JEYARAJ to sing a song for him in his next movie.

This last round (Fri/Sat in Vijay TV), is entirely in the hands of the audience. The finalists will be decided by a vote.

So, please watch him sing and VOTE FOR HARISH without fail. Every vote counts and will help him achieve his 10 year ambition ..ie. to become a playback singer.

S.Ve.Shekhar - Podcast

I like S.Ve.Shekhar a lot for his timing and dialog delivery.

I have a few of his CD's in my car and when I am down a bit, all I do is just listen to them. He makes me laugh.

He was elected MLA a few months back from Mylapore in Chennai, India.

Ram Viswanathan, has done a
nice podcast with S.Ve. Shekhar.

India blocks Blogs

I read this news in Rediff and was shocked ! Is India following the footsteps of China?

What's more puzzling is the lack of coverage of this news by the Mainstream media ( atleast until now).

Here is a quote from
a blog that I read a few minutes back.

What I find disappointing is the mainstream Indian press. Where is the outcry? Where is the discussion? This situation has been visible in the Indian blogsphere since Saturday morning Indian time. It's now (very) early Tuesday morning in India and yet I haven't seen any coverage in the mainstream Indian press beyond the Rediff article mentioned above.

What's up with the "world's largest democracy"? Why no discussion?

Could this be True

( Please turn the volume down before you click on the image)

What a blessing it would be
( especially with Desi style of cooking )
if this could be true ?

I would like to check this out.

Pankaj Udhas - Chahat Desh Se

I got introduced to Ghazals way back in 1984-1985 when I was in Bombay.

The first Ghazal that I listened to was by Pankaj Udhas and since then, I am a big fan of him.

Power Cuts in New Delhi

NEW DELHI, The capital of India, The seat of the Biggest Democracy in the world, Second only to China in Population and competing to beat China soon.

History talks very high about New Delhi, but let's put history aside and come to reality.

This afternoon, I was watching the HEADLINE NEWS channel that I get LIVE from India. I was shocked to see a report on the power cuts in New Delhi.

It is shameful to see such things happening in the Capital of India which is the face of India to the world.

To add to the shock,
I read this report that made me think.

Who is making the money? Who is paying the tax? Where is it all going?

Bombay Flooded again - What a shame

Bombay Rains

It happens every year and it's becoming worser as well. Where is all the money going? India's financial capital is drowing in rains again in 2006. What a shame.!

Mumbaikar's Ideas.

My humble opinion - We need a revolution in India.
